It’s not the weights fault…
When you take lifting seriously an animalistic part of your personality is let loose. It’s the only way to push through those last couple reps on your last set. If you’re not pushing so hard that you need to yell out – you’re not lifting hard enough.
So yes this man probably takes lifting very seriously… so seriously in fact that he can’t keep in his animalistic anger after a failed lift. We’ve always said to take your anger out on the iron… but this isn’t exactly what we meant.
