Blessing Awodibu Joins Forces With Phil Heath For Arm Day Training

Top up and coming bodybuilder Blessing Awodibu trained arms with the legend and seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath. Heath also gave Blessing some sage advice during their training.

Perhaps one of the most exciting up and comers in the IFB be pro league today, Blessing Awodibu has a ton of upside. With his infectious personality and his undeniable popularity blessing could be one of the most intriguing up and coming bodybuilders in the sport today. He has the genetics, he has the personality, the charisma, and he has the presence to garner a great deal of interest in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding division.

With only several weeks until the 2022 Olympia Blessing Awodibu is pulling out all the stops in his training. That includes training with seven-time Olympia champion Phil Heath ahead of the show. The two recently joined forces for an epic arm day training that saw the veteran Heath giving Blessing some top pro tips.

But while Phil heath could tell Blessing Awodibu everything about building his arms, perhaps the most important advice that he gave the young up and comer is about mindset.

As of late Phil Heath has been particularly focused on the mental side of the game. While that may always be a major aspect in any sporting endeavor, we see Heath doubling down with his advice to Blessing Awodibu.

The two worked together on an epic arm day workout. Phil Heath also offered Blessing Awodibu some posing advice that he could use for his benefit.

Full Arm Day Workout:

  • Unilateral Preacher Curl Machine
  • Seated Machine Unilateral Bicep Curl
  • Standing Dumbbell Curl
  • Standing Concentration Dumbbell Curl
  • Rope Pushdown
  • Overhead Cable Tricep Extension
  • Side One Arm Reverse Cable Pushdown

Blessing also had a message for the bodybuilding community, clearly stating his intentions with his preparation for the Olympia.

“My Goal in this Olympia is to show fans of bodybuilding that, ‘listen. I’m here for a reason,” said Blessing Awodibu. “All that Instagram stuff… that clowning and sh**. That’s just me having fun. Bodybuilding’s my thing. I love this sport and my goal is to be the best. My goal for this year’s Olympia is to show I’m real and I am out for the business. So I can’t let off the smoke. No stones unturned.”
