#USADA DEALS OUT ANOTHER K.O.

The USADA testing is like father time. It comes for everyone regardless of race, religion, or creed and when it does, it shows no mercy. For those of you who’ve been following the UFC, fight cards being dismantled and main events falling through is almost standard. But for some reason, on the biggest card in MMA history, with one of the biggest rivals, with one of the biggest MMA superstars, we held the suspension of disbelief…until reality struck, and it struck hard. Jon Jones, the interim light heavyweight champion of the world and former light heavyweight champion, has been pulled from the main event of UFC 200. Jones was set to take on current champion Daniel Cormier for the title but was pulled from the event for testing positive in an out of competition drug test held on June 16th. USADA claims he popped hot for a banned substance and needs to be brought in for a hearing before determining further actions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-AX158EFGQ From most accounts it’s looking more and more likely that the violation might be for PED’s ( Performance enhancing drugs) as it was an out of competition drug test. To further the point, Jones and his manager hint at PED’s during their reaction press conference but don’t actually confirm. Jones says he will opt for the the “B-sample” to be tested which could prove a main ingredient if he wants to be exonerated. https://youtu.be/I2ja3YxN0UU The Mark Hunt vs. Brock Lesnar fight has been moved to the main event and the organization has just said Daniel Cormier WILL FIGHT on the UFC 200 card. The leading contenders are Michael Bisping, Gegard Mousasi, and recently Alexander Gustafsson who tweeted he could be on his way to Vegas by tonight.

Who do you guys think will be Daniel Cormier’s next contender? Stay tuned for the latest news on the sport.
