After all – the dopamine rush from a successful workout is the best reward and best way to start your week out right… you just might need a little push to get there.
Watch Dexter Jackson in action at the Tampa Pro 2019.
This past weekend held the Tampa Pro 2019 – one of the last big IFBB competitions before heading into the Mr. Olympia. This lineup was stacked with some top tier bodybuilders fighting for their last chance to qualify. One such bodybuilder was Dexter Jackson – who ended up winning the competition.
What’s also exciting about Dexter Jackson competing at the Tampa Pro is how close it is to the Olympia competition. We are just six weeks away from the big show – and it’s normally rare to see a top contender showcase their competition ready physique on the stage. Thus, Dexter’s physique at the Tampa Pro will be a good indicator of what he will look like come Mr. Olympia and how he will fair against the rest of the competition.
That’s why content partner Fazi Fitness has put together this video showcasing Dexter Jackson’s winning Tampa Pro 2019 posing routine – so that people who were unable to be t the show can check out Dexter’s physique just six weeks out from the Olympia. Do you think we will be seeing a new and improved Dexter at this year’s Olympia? Watch the video above and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
Hadi Choopan still won’t have his US visa, preventing him from competing at the Olympia 2019.
The New York Post has reported that Hadi Choopan has again been denied his US visa just one month away from the Mr. Olympia 2019. This will prevent Choopan from competing at the competition despite qualifying again this year.
This comes shortly after Hadi Choopan had competed in the Vancouver pro – with no difficulties applying and being accepted for a Canada visa. Hadi Choopan had not only won first place at the Vancouver Pro, but he had earned the victory in the Men’s Open division instead of the his traditional division in the Men’s 212.
The difficulties may be stemmed from president Donald Trump’s travel ban. Hadi Choopan is from Iran, which was one of the terror-prone nations listed on a travel ban instituted in 2017.
Both Hadi Choopan and representatives from the US Citizenship and Immegration Services refused to provide a comment on this developing story.
Do you think that Hadi Choopan can earn a first place victory at the Mr. Olympia if he were able to compete? And do you think he would be able to place well in the Men’s Open division? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check back at the Generation Iron Fitness Network for updates as this story develops.
In order to be the best of the best at what you do it takes a whole lot of hard work and dedication. You can’t expect greatness if you half ass it. It’s something that every serious pro bodybuilder comes to understand at one point or another. You have to be all in.
Regan Grimes has received some flack lately for switching camps and potentially switching divisions. But in reality, the young bodybuilder was simply giving himself the best chance of being as great as he could possibly be. For that reason, Regan Grimes deserves to be commended for thinking outside of the box.
As the New York Pro approaches, Regan Grimes is back with his original trainer, the well respected Chris Aceto. Looking to bring the best possible package to the stage, Regan Grimes is pushing his body to the limit. His recent leg day training shows just how insanely dedicated a bodybuilder must be to excel at the pro level.
Who turned out on top in the last big qualifying show of the year?

Jay Cutler is well known in the bodybuilding world for being not only a 4x Mr. Olympia champion – but for also being the one to dethrone Ronnie Coleman after his eight year reign as The King. And while it’s been some time since we’ve seen Jay Cutler as a champ or on the stage – his legend and accomplishments still ring throughout the bodybuilding industry.
That’s why we are celebrating Jay Cutler’s birthday, who turned 46, today. So let’s take a moment to look back at Jay Cutler in his prime and use it as motivation to push past limits and break through PRs! Check out this throwback pic of Jay from his Instagram account:
If there were any doubters out there, this clip should prove you wrong.
Brandon Curry is looking like an absolute beast weeks out from the Olympia. Many people often use hyperbole to describe the great physiques of certain bodybuilders, but this is certainly not one of those times.
It’s pretty clear to anyone with eyes that Brandon Curry is the front runner to potentially win the coveted title of Mr. Olympia. After the shocking accusations that got Shawn Rhoden banned from the 2019 Olympia, the title is up for grabs.
From the looks of things, Brandon Curry is well on his way to capturing that title.
With only seven weeks until the 2019 Olympia, Brandon Curry is showing some real poise and looking to be in championship condition heading into the big show.
His recent Instagram posts show a Brandon Curry who is realizing his full potential and that truly makes him a dangerous competitor and one of the favorites to win the show!
There’s no doubting that Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the biggest legends in bodybuilding history. Surely, you can make the case for other massive bodybuilding stars such as Ronnie Coleman or Lee Haney – two competitors who have more Mr. Olympia wins that Schwarzenegger. But in terms of cultural impact in and outside of the bodybuilding world – Schwarzenegger was a force of nature unrivaled by anyone else in the sport.
That’s why Raiden Motivation has decided to put together this bodybuilding motivation video tribute to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not only will this get you pumped up for a killer training session in the gym – but it will also remind you that there just might not ever be another bodybuilder like Schwarzenegger again. That’s how unique and legendary he is. He’s one of a kind. And he’ll be forever remembered in the halls of bodybuilding history.
Dexter Jackson is the man to beat at the Tampa Pro 2019.
This weekend holds what many consider to be the last big and extremely competitive IFBB bodybuilding competition before the Mr. Olympia 2019. The Tampa Pro is the last big chance for athletes to qualify for the Olympia and this brings a large crop of top talent to compete who are all itching to earn their right on the Olympia stage.
Dexter Jackson being one of them after placing in a lackluster 7th place at the Olympia 2018 – the Tampa Pro is his moment to show the world how much he’s improved since last year and also his chance to get back into the Olympia and – potentially – win that competition as well. That puts a target on Dexter’s back for the rest of the competition showing up at Tampa this weekend.
Fazi Fitness has put together the latest training and physique update for all the Men’s Open competitors showing up at the Tampa Pro 2019. With less than a day before the actual competitions begin – check out the latest in this compilation video and decide for yourself if anyone has a chance to take down the legendary Dexter Jackson this weekend.
