Hadi Choopan Denied US Visa Ahead Of Olympia 2019

Hadi Choopan still won’t have his US visa, preventing him from competing at the Olympia 2019.

The New York Post has reported that Hadi Choopan has again been denied his US visa just one month away from the Mr. Olympia 2019. This will prevent Choopan from competing at the competition despite qualifying again this year.

This comes shortly after Hadi Choopan had competed in the Vancouver pro – with no difficulties applying and being accepted for a Canada visa. Hadi Choopan had not only won first place at the Vancouver Pro, but he had earned the victory in the Men’s Open division instead of the his traditional division in the Men’s 212.

The difficulties may be stemmed from president Donald Trump’s travel ban. Hadi Choopan is from Iran, which was one of the terror-prone nations listed on a travel ban instituted in 2017.

Both Hadi Choopan and representatives from the US Citizenship and Immegration Services refused to provide a comment on this developing story.

Do you think that Hadi Choopan can earn a first place victory at the Mr. Olympia if he were able to compete? And do you think he would be able to place well in the Men’s Open division?
