You couldn’t ask for a better training partner.
When it comes to bodybuilding and weight lifting a great influence on how great or poor your training can be is sometimes directly linked to your training partner. Some people like to train alone, true, but for many others a training partner can not only act as support, spotting you during heavy lifts, but they can also improve your overall workout.
In order for you to get the most out of a training partner a few things must be taken under consideration. They must be competent at lifting, have a desire to improve, and also be supportive in your own goals for shaping your body. A good training partner can’t be selfish, because it will take away from your training. It’s also true that a good training partner should be open and honest about your strengths and weaknesses in order to help you improve. You’d have to be as open and honest as family. In fact, who’d be a better training partner than the person that knows you best: your father.
.
For those lucky enough to have a shared interest in bodybuilding, a father as a training partner is certainly an awesome idea. You can learn from a man who has seen it and done it all before the first time you’ve ever touched a dumbbell. Fathers inherently want their sons to improve and eventually surpass them. It’s in a father’s nature to want to see their child rise to greatness. A father/son lifting duo could see each other making some considerable improvements in their physiques.
Take a look at some of the best bodybuilding father/son duos in the business and pass it along to that dad in your life who loves to pump some iron. (Sorry about the music… unless your into that sappy kind of thing)
