It takes power and intense energy to muscle through a heavy set in the gym. You need to reach deep down inside of you to push your body to the limit. If you’re not doing that, you’re not lifting right. So of course some people need to conjure up their inner rage in order to destroy those last few reps. That’s why you hear grunts and yells in hardcore gyms. It’s that animalistic side of us that comes out to dig deeper than we ever have before. To reach a strength most of us only dream about.

Yes, sometimes screaming at the gym can motivate you to complete major lifts but in this case… don’t be like these guys.
