Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson are set to rematch at UFC 232!
The MMA world has known for some time now that Jon Jones would be eligible to fight by the end of September. While many had speculated that he would headline UFC 230 in New York, Dana White quickly put that idea to bed, snuffing out many fan hopes to see a potential Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier rematch.
While we may have been in limbo for quite some time in regards to a Jon Jones return, the UFC brass has now saw fit to end all the speculation. Jon Jones will make his long awaited return to the Octagon to face former foe Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232 in Las Vegas for the annual end of the year card.
The UFC Light Heavyweight title will be on the line, effectively stripping Daniel Cormier of the 205 Lbs title. Confirmation was made by a number of media outlets and it appears the fans will finally get a rematch of what many still consider to be the greatest Light Heavyweight title fight of all time.
