Milos Sarcev has some harsh words about the claims behind SARMs.

Beyond being a prominent competitive bodybuilder, Milos Sarcev is now best known as a coach and guru. Through a combination of research and experience – he has tried to be at the forefront of best bodybuilding training and nutrition practices. So what are his opinions on the increasingly trending bodybuilding supplements – SARMs? In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Milos Sarcev debunks certain popular claims behind SARMs.

Selective Androgen Receptor Modules, most commonly known as SARMs, have been booming in popularity for the past few decades. This is due to the claim that these supplements provide the results of steroids without the dangerous side effects. Currently, SARMs, are legal to buy and sell. But this is only if it is sold as a “research chemical.” It is not approved for performance enhancing in sports.

While it is not legal for recreational sports use – it is much easier to obtain than steroids because of their legal status. Companies can sell SARMs as “research chemicals” but can’t control what the buyer actually does with them.

But beyond the grey legal area behind these drugs, are they actually a safer alternative for bodybuilding use? We turned to Milos Sarcev to get his opinion on this wildly popular substance.

Milos Sarcev wasted no time bluntly sharing his opinion on SARMs. He believes that the hype behind the substance is foolish. He thinks that the claims behind SARMs in comparison to steroids are untrue. Overall, he finds SARMs to be a substance that is brainwashing the public by telling them what they want to hear.

It should be noted that Milos Sarcev is not a licensed doctor. So his claims here are purely based on his own experience and research. This should not be taken as legal medical advice. That being said, Milos presses the importance of understanding what a person is putting in their body.

There is always a cost for benefits from a drug. Some drugs have very low costs and side effects. Those are the kinds of drugs that are approved for over the counter use. Other drugs have much more intense side effects. Those are either made outright illegal or walled behind a doctor’s subscription under specific measured use.

When it comes to performance enhancing supplements for bodybuilders – there will always be side effects. Milos Sarcev believes that these negative side affects are mostly only present if a bodybuilder abuses steroids. He has been outspoken about steroids being a safe substance for athletes.

That being said, he does understand that bodybuilders push the limits with steroids and other substances to be the best in the world. The risk and cost is certainly there if a bodybuilder wants to take it.

What Milos Sarcev has a problem with is SARMs marketing themselves as giving the results of steroids without any of the health risks. He simply can’t believe that to be true. There is no miracle drug that can boost performance without some sort of potentially dangerous side effect.

Milos believes that the quick rise in popularity of these SARMs substances is worrisome. It shows athletes and perhaps even casual lifting fans skipping past research and believing whatever is marketing towards them.

At the end fo the day, SARMs are currently not approved as a dietary supplement nor is it approved for performance enhancing in sports. Just like steroids, Milos Sarcev believes there will always be risks behind these kinds of substances.
