Conor McGregor Pleads Guilty for Involvement in Brooklyn Bus Attack

Conor McGregor pleads guilty.

Well it’s official, Conor McGregor should change his last nickname to “Mr. Untouchable” as he’s been given a relative slap on the wrist for his involvement in the now infamous bus attack which took place back in the April in Brooklyn, New York.

The attack which saw the former UFC lightweight champion attempt to assault current champ Khabib Nurmagomedov due to a personal slight to the Irishman’s training partner. Conor McGregor and his entourage stormed the Barclays Center hoping to confront Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team. What ensued was McGregor and his entourage attacking a bus containing several fighters and their retinues, one of those fighters being Khabib. Things quickly took a serious turn as Conor McGregor himself launched a dolly through the window of the bus resulting in multiple injuries and fight cancellations.

Subsequently, McGregor turned himself into the NYPD and has since made a handful of court appearances before coming to an agreement. Conor McGregor pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct and has been sentenced to five days community service as well as anger management. He won’t receive any jail time and his criminal record will remain clean.

It seems that the scenario has completely worked out for not only Conor McGregor, but the UFC as well. Now they have the opportunity to bring one of their biggest cash cows back into the fold and potentially make a fight on a scale they couldn’t have possibly dreamed of before. Now that the sentence has been handed down, a bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor will be an easy sell, one that will no doubt generate an insane amount of revenue for the UFC.

William Bonac Shows Off Crazy Conditioning 7 Weeks Out From Olympia

William Bonac is looking ready for the upset at the 2018 Olympia.

The narrative heading into the 2018 Olympia seems to be wholly focused on the battle between Phil Heath and Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, at least as far as the Open Weight division is concerned. There has been so much hype put on Big Ramy potentially defeating Phil Heath this year that some people seem to be forgetting the man who came in third place at the 2017 show.

William Bonac has been nicknamed “The Conqueror” for a reason. He has dominated the opposition time and again and has quickly cut through the ranks of the Open Weight division. Where he had once stood as a top ten competitor with some great potential, William Bonac has broken through the top five and continues to rise. Even former eight time Olympia champion Ronnie Coleman stated at last year’s show that William Bonac was a man to keep an eye. High praise indeed.

So as we move forward towards the 2018 Olympia it should be obvious to everyone that the battle will be between Phil Heath, Big Ramy, and of course William Bonac who has put in some serious work in the gym this past year.

In his most recent update post, William Bonac looks absolutely ready to pull the upset and the rest of the field of competitors should be concerned.

WATCH: Dennis James Thinks Derek Lunsford Can Dethrone Flex Lewis Under One Condition

Strength Wars Movie

Derek Lunsford might have a chance at Olympia 212 glory… but only if Flex Lewis comes in off.

Dennis James continues to give us his expert bodybuilding opinions and predictions as we head closer and closer to the Mr. Olympia 2018 competition. His latest video touches upon the Men’s 212 division and whether or not Derek Lunsford can beat out Flex Lewis. The Men’s 212 division has a lot of talent this year and Derek is definitely one of the biggest contenders. Dennis James believes he is the dark horse who can rearrange all expectations of the Men’s 212 results at this year’s Olympia… but can probably only beat Flex Lewis if Flex himself comes in with off conditioning.

Anything can happen… but to rely on your competition to show up off isn’t the best way to win a show. So while Flex Lewis remains the obvious first choice for many in the Men’s 212 Mr. Olympia this year – let’s keep our eyes on Derek Lunsford. Maybe something crazy will happen.

Flex Online Ceases Operation As Independent Bodybuilding Site

A major shift has occurred in the online bodybuilding landscape.

One of the premiere news sites for bodybuilding, Flex Online has ceased operation as an independent site. Flex online now strictly exists as a subsection of the Muscle & Fitness website. This comes about a year after Men’s Fitness also ended it’s operations as an independent website.

Once companion publications, Flex Magazine and Muscle & Fitness dominated the bodybuilding and fitness landscape since the early 1980s. Flex focused more on hardcore bodybuilding while Muscle & Fitness took a more mainstream fitness approach to their coverage. With the merger of the two online magazines now finalized, Flex Online will continue to live on as a part of Muscle & Fitness.

In a sense, this is the beginning of an end of an era as digital and online publications continue to dominate and crop out the magazine landscape.  It will be intriguing to see where we go from here, but it’s no doubt further proof that times are changing – not just in the bodybuilding industry but the media industry as a whole.

Flex Online was once a mighty name that stood bold on magazine covers. Now it will only be a small header in a subsection of a bigger website.

You can check it out for yourself at the new web address can be found here.

HILARIOUS! When a Bodybuilder Does the “In My Feelings” Challenge

When a bodybuilder does the “In My Feelings” challenge.

If you haven’t been aware of the “In My Feelings” challenge then you’ve clearly been living under a rock and need some fresh air. The “In My Feelings” challenge consists of individuals hopping out of a moving car to dance to Drake’s song of the same name.

Yeah, sounds more than a bit crazy, but the challenge has gone viral and everybody and their momma are looking to participate. It’s definitely not one of the safest challenges out there, but considering that everyone’s response to that is YOLO, another noted Drake reference, people are willing to put themselves and their vehicles on the line for a few moments of fame.

Bodybuilding comedian Robert Frank is a man known for making some funny and intense video clips, showcasing the extreme and comedic side of a lifting enthusiast. His videos are played for laughs yet there also seems to be a bit of truth and sincerity behind some of the statements Robert Frank makes.

With his intense demeanor and attitude, it’s obvious that Robert Frank would be a perfect candidate for the “In My Feelings” challenge, right?

Why don’t we just sit back and watch the hilarity ensue. If you’ve never seen Robert Frank before, then be forewarned, this is NSFW.

You asked. #inmyfeelings #shiggychallenge

WATCH: Dennis James Explains Why Big Ramy Will Most Likely Never Beat Phil Heath

Phil Heath will beat Big Ramy from the back every single time.

Big Ramy came close to beating Phil Heath last year – and now many believe that this year could be the turning point when we see a new Olympia champion. But Dennis James doesn’t find that likely. In his recent video post, Dennis James explains how even if Big Ramy brings the best physique of his life… Phil Heath’s back conditioning is so genetically amazing that Big Ramy most likely still wouldn’t top it.

Watch the full video above for Dennis James’ in depth explanation. Of course anything could happen – but let us know if you agree with Dennis James’ assessment of Big Ramy vs Phil Heath for this upcoming Mr. Olympia.
