The trio shared their top three predictions for the 2024 Olympia.
The 2024 Olympia is 15 weeks out and predictions are going to start flowing. The summer months continue on and competitors are beginning to enter next stages of prep. As this happens, there will be many different variations of how the top will play out this year. Recently, The Menace Podcast shared their opinions on the top three.
“We have 14 weeks to make changes. I think this is a good time to start. Let’s go for the top six at this year’s Mr. Olympia. This is the top six today. This could change next week and it’ll change 10 more times before the Olympia.”

Derek Lunsford jumped ahead of Hadi Choopan at the 2023 Olympia to win his first Men’s Open title. He became the first competitor to win a Sandow Trophy in two different divisions. Now, he has become an elite competitor in the biggest division and continues to put on size to improve his physique.
It will not be an easy road for Lunsford to repeat. Choopan will be in the way, along with Nick Walker. He missed the Olympia with a hamstring injury last year but was victorious at the New York Pro to earn his spot this year. Samson Dauda finished top three last year and has a chance to return after another big year in 2024.

“Samson is going to finally nail it. If not, I think then Samson can be out of the top three real fast. If he’s not delivering this time, I think it’s going to really hurt him.”

“What we saw last from Hadi is an Olympia-winning physique. That version of Hadi would have blown the doors off of the 2023 Olympia.”

Chris Cormier
Cormier made his predictions first and the group was initially going to nail down the top six. There is still nearly four months to qualify so it was a challenging ask. Cormier named his top three and mentioned how he expects Rubiel Mosquera to finish in the top five.
