Roelly Winklaar Posts Photo So Insane It Looks Photoshopped

Roelly Winklaar is a beast that defies what is capable for the average human being.

As one of the most preeminent bodybuilders in the game today, Roelly Winklaar enjoys a high status among some of the best competitors in the Open Weight division. There’s no doubting that the biggest strength of Roelly Winklaar is his unprecedented size, particularly his arms. Ever since making the decision to train at the Oxygen Gym in Kuwait, we’ve seen Roelly improve drastically with every passing year.

While he may not have reached the top three at the 2017 Olympia, it was still evident that Roelly Winklaar had made some pretty impressive gains. His body has never been so massive while at the same time lean and streamlined. There’s no doubt about it, his training with the Camel Crew at Oxygen Gym is really paying dividends.

Recently, Roelly Winklaar posted a photo on his Instagram account showcasing his massive muscle and definition, his back and arms being the highlight of his physique. In fact, Roelly looks so impressive in the photo he seems unreal.

Turning His Life Around Through Bodybuilding, Scottish Couch Potato Achieves Transformation

From sloth to bodybuilder.

Craig O’Brien, 21, grew up as an exceptionally lazy and unhealthy young man. He told The Scottish Sun:

“I was literally the definition of a couch potato and at school on my lunch break I would buy chippies, rolls and sausages and bags of sweets. You name it, I ate it every single day, Monday to Friday.”

Finally, when Craig reached 224 pounds at 42% body fat, he realized he had to turn his life around and took his first steps into fitness:

“I had no idea what I was doing and thought all I had to do to lose weight was to do a bit of cardio. I didn’t realize how important diet was, so I would still eat a lot of crap such as sweets, pizza and other kinds of junk food.”

Craig realized that a moderate amount of cardio with little change in diet is not enough to achieve serious results.

“I lost a little bit of weight but I still didn’t like the way I felt or looked, despite going to the gym for one hour of cardio every day,” he said.

So Craig started lifting weights and in around a year’s time he had, dropped from 42% body fat to just 12% at 154 pounds.

“Throughout doing the weights and going to the gym all these years, I have figured what works best for my body through experience and know what works for me and what doesn’t.”

Craig now works as a personal trainer. He has his eye on the competitive bodybuilding scene, with the ambition of taking the stage next year.

His diet now consists of a high frequency of low calorie meals – 6 per day that he organizes around his training.

“In order to lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit, so I like to keep calories as high as possible and do more activity throughout the day, such as cardio after my workouts, or simply moving around during the day rather than just sitting down.”

Relax, Floyd Mayweather Definitely Isn’t Going to Sign With the UFC. Probably. Maybe.

Floyd Mayweather making his way to the UFC…Seriously?

If you’re at all plugged into the daily goings on of MMA, you’ve likely heard the rumors floating around that Floyd Mayweather might be in discussions to You might have heard it from none other than UFC President Dana White, who told the following to ESPN on Wednesday:

“We’re talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal. It’s real. He was talking about [boxing] Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren’t real? He usually tips his hand when he’s in the media, and then that sh*t ends up happening.”

“We’re interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather vs. McGregor f*cking happened. Anything is possible.”

Now to be fair, the fact that McGregor vs. Mayweather somehow managed to stumble itself ass backwards into existence does add a sliver of credence to White’s statement. But you guys, trust me you guys, there isn’t a chance in Hell that Floyd Mayweather is honesty considering a fight in the UFC. Not one. Here is a short list of reasons why:

  • Floyd Mayweather is 40 years old
  • Floyd Mayweather has fought 50 times as a professional boxer dating back to 1996
  • Floyd Mayweather has zero previous MMA experience. Zero.
  • Floyd Mayweather is retired
  • Even if Floyd Mayweather were to come out of retirement again, it damn well wouldn’t be for a fight in a sport of which he has zero experience.
  • Floyd Mayweather made 300 million dollars for his fight against Conor McGregor.

That last statistic is surely the most damning, as it accounts for more money than the 50 highest paid fighters in UFC History have made in their entire careers combined. COMBINED, you guys. And Floyd made that in one fight. 300. Million. Dollars.

And look, I know that Floyd recently talked about the UFC offering him a contract that would make him “a billion dollars.” I know this. But if you think the UFC is in any position to start handing out billion dollar contracts willy nilly, I know a woman who really does make $7230 a day working from home, CLICK HERE! I’m not certain, but I’m totally certain that you could compare the percentage that the UFC took from McGregor’s $100 million paycheck for the Mayweather fight with what it paid its entire roster in 2017 and the roster would come up on the losing side. So what, Mayweather’s going to risk a perfect fighting record *and* his health to maybe torch some handpicked opponent for less money than he pays each week to his garden gnome cleaners, which is a job that I assume all mega rich people need to hire out for? Pleeeeeassse.

In fact, as some, braver writers than I have suggested, this whole thing might simply be ploy on the UFC’s part to entice the kind of broadcasting partners that the promotion has been struggling to reel in during its current ratings spiral.

So yes, rest assured that there is now way on God’s green earth that Floyd Mayweather is even close to signing with the UFC. Unless he does. In which case, count me in with John Kavanagh.

NPC Is Making Some Big Changes To The Classic Physique Format

Changes are coming for Classic Physique.

The Classic Physique division has become one of the more intriguing categories in bodybuilding in the modern era. While Open Weight bodybuilding is still considered the main attraction, Classic Physique is proving itself to be extremely exciting. With the category only being created within the last two years, anyone could pop up and become the best of the best through virtue of hard training, the right posing routine, and a unique element to their physique.

One of the major caveats that set Classic Physique apart from the Open Weight division is the inclusion of Weight limits depending on your height. A great idea in theory, but as Phil Heath has pointed out, bodybuilders usually look to improve by gaining more muscle which of course means gaining more weight, something that could become a real problem for Classic Physique competitors. But it appears that something is being done to rectify that fact.

The NPC has now officially announced that the weight limits for Classic Physique will be increased. This will allow for competitors to put on more muscle and hit the stage with the most solid package possible. Take a look at the official post below for more details.

What do you think of the increase in weight limits for Classic Physique?

23- Year-Old Brit Wins World Junior Physique

This fall, a British 23 year old named Kieran Kevan, won several national and international bodybuilding titles.

Most notably, in October Kieran won the World Junior Physique at the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation awards in Boston, USA.

The young man was ecstatic about his early success, Physique divisions are known for having relatively large pools of competitors and relatively homogenous body types when compared to categories like Open Bodybuilding. For Kieran, to stand out so much felt like a huge accomplishment. He told BBC News:

“It’s pretty surreal. It feels awesome. And the thing is with men’s physique, it’s so competitive. Once I won that British title and the International title in the same day, I’m not gonna lie – I did cry.”

He understands that bodybuilding is itself a full time job. Outlining his daily regimen, Kieran sounds like he is a young man of serious commitment to and understanding of the game.

“You have to eat correctly, sleep correctly- it’s a 24 hour thing. If I’m getting ready for a show I’ll do my fartlek cardio, I’ll then come home prep 6-7 meals for the day, get to work, work my day, go to the gym, train for two hours, and then I’ll do another half hour of cardo.”

Strength Wars Movie

As a young competitor, Kieran has grown up in an era of ubiquitous self-advertisement and extreme self-consciousness. He offered a few thoughts on how modern men should approach the desire to improve themselves and ensure that desire stays healthy instead of self- destructive.

“I would say men have become a lot more health conscious, a lot more worried about what they look like and stuff as well. I think as long as you stay true to yourself and it doesn’t affect your health than you go for it!”

Kieran is certainly a young man to watch, as he will likely be expanding his competitive pursuits across the international stage.

Someone Is Selling An Original Mr. Olympia Sandow Trophy On Ebay

Olympia Sandow Trophy Ebay Generation Iron

Strength Wars Movie

Who is selling one of a very limited few Sandow trophies on Ebay?

The Mr. Olympia Sandow trophy is a coveted item that only goes to the best of the best. Only 11 of 13 Mr. Olympia winners are in possession of this trophy since it was first presented in 1977 – meaning Larry Scott and Sergio Oliva missed out on receiving the trophy because it was before their time. Yet here we are with an original Sandow trophy for sale on Ebay (for a whopping $7,500!).

Is this a real trophy? And which Mr. Olympia champion would want to sell such an important item? This is actually not the first time this has happened. Two years ago another Sandow trophy was purhcased via Ebay by Aaron Singerman of RedCon1. Included with the purchase was a confidentiality clause that prevents Aaron from revealing who in fact sold the trophy. Could this new listing be from the same athlete?

You can check out the listing for yourself on Ebay right here (and buy it if you want for a very expensive Christmas gift).
