2025 Strongman Champions League World Finals Results – Rayno Nel Wins Back-to-Back

Rayno Nel is back on top of the world after his victory this weekend!

The 2025 Strongman Champions League World Finals took place over the weekend in Sun City, South Africa. It was a full weekend of action featuring 12 of the top competitors in the world spread out across seven events.

In the end, Rayno Nel won six events and finished at the top of the podium for the second consecutive year. The 2025 World’s Strongest Man Champion (WSM) won the SCL for a second year in a row, proving his rookie winning season is no fluke.

2025 SCL World Finals Event Results

Event One – Log Lift for Reps

The Log Lift kicked off the event on day one. Competitors were given a chance to lift overhead 160kg for as many reps as possible in the time allotted.

  1. Rayno Nel – 7 reps
  2. Kevin Hazeleger – 6 reps
  3. Adam Roszkowski – 6 reps
  4. Aivars Smaukstelis – 5 reps
  5. Brian Kichton – 5 reps
  6. Graham Hicks – 5 reps
  7. Evans Nana – 4 reps
  8. Peter Juhasz – 4 reps
  9. Andrea Invernizzi – 4 reps
  10. Kelin Mills – 3 reps
  11. Patrick Eibel – 1 rep
  12. Jesper Hansson – 0 reps

Event Two – Farmer’s Walk

The second event of the day was the Farmer’s Walk, where competitors got a chance to test grip strength. Athletes were asked to lift two heavy weights off the ground and walk with them across a 40-meter course in a 60-second time limit.

Event Three – Deadlift for Reps

The third event was the Deadlift for Reps. This was a high deadlift where athletes were given 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible.

  4. Brian Kichton – 5 reps
  5. Aivars Smaukstelis – 5 reps

Event Four – Husafell Carry

The Husafell Carry gave competitors unlimited time to pick up a weight of 180kg and walk for the furthest distance possible.

Event Five – Sandbag Loading Race

The Sandbag Loading Race featured three bags weighing 120kg, 140kg, and 160kg.

Event Six – Hercules Hold

The Hercules Hold was the penultimate event of the competition and had a similar feel of the Farmer’s Walk. The difference was competitors were asked to hold two pillars and not allow them to hit the ground while standing in place.

Event Seven – Atlas Stones

The final event of the competition was a Strongman classic. Competitors were tasked with loading five stones ranging in weight onto platforms.
