2026 Canada’s Strongest Man Results: Tristain Hoath Captures Second Consecutive Title

The 2026 Canada’s Strongest Man competition took place on Aug. 30 in Saint-Pamphile, Quebec, bringing 12 of the nation’s top strength athletes together for six grueling events.

In the end, Tristain Hoath successfully defended his title with 60.5 points. Hoath remarkably did not win any of the six events but used incredible consistency to remain near the top of the standings throughout the competition. He never finished lower than fifth in an event.

Maxime Boudreault was dominant for much of the day, winning or tying for the win in four consecutive events. However, Boudreault failed to record a rep in the Car Deadlift, allowing Hoath to erase the deficit. Hoath eventually secured the championship by just two points.

Tristain Hoath Wins Second Straight Canada’s Strongest Man Title

Hoath’s victory marked his second consecutive Canada’s Strongest Man championship and showed just how valuable consistency can be across a full Strongman contest.

Boudreault had the more dominant individual performances, but his zero on the Car Deadlift proved too difficult to overcome. Hoath remained within striking distance all day before doing enough in the final two events to finish with 60.5 points and a narrow two-point victory.

The Canadian standout has also proven himself against the best Strongman athletes in the world. Hoath finished fifth at the 2024 World’s Strongest Man and has now added another national championship to his growing resume.
