Jayson Hooper and Mirjam von Rohr Top Elite Field of CrossFit Athletes in Paris

The 2026 French Throwdown CrossFit Semifinal took place on May 15-17 in Paris, France, bringing together many of Europe’s top CrossFit athletes in a battle for qualification to the 2026 CrossFit Games. The competition featured six events across three days, with the top three men, women, and teams earning spots at the Games.

Men

Jayson Hopper put together a dominant performance throughout the weekend, securing two event wins and multiple runner-up finishes to claim the overall title. Moritz Fiebig finished second, while Nika Maisuradze locked in the final qualifying position for his first-ever CrossFit Games appearance.

Women

The women’s division came down to the wire, with Mirjam von Rohr narrowly defeating Aimee Cringle after a close Sunday showdown. Elisa Fuliano surged into third place during the final event to secure the last qualifying position for the CrossFit Games.

Teams

CrossFit Oslo Kriger controlled the team competition from start to finish, earning the overall victory and a trip to the 2026 CrossFit Games. CrossFit Södra Wättern and Team Butcher’s Lab Pursuit rounded out the qualifying spots.

The French Throwdown once again delivered one of the most competitive semifinal events in Europe, with several dramatic leaderboard shifts during the final day of competition. The event also officially punched six individual tickets and three team invitations to the 2026 CrossFit Games.
