4 OF THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENTS FROM MR. OLYMPIA 2015

Generation Iron Olympia 2015 disappointments

The let downs.

The worst thing about huge events is that at some point they’ll be over. I’m sure we all remember the joy and exhilaration of going to our first concert, or seeing a movie that’s so good you never want to leave the theater. But at some point, the band sings the final song, the movie credits roll, and we realize it’s over.  Unfortunately for us the biggest contest in bodybuilding suffers from the same fate.

Now that Mr. O is over there’s been a lot of fall out. In a high stakes sport like bodybuilding there will never be a total consensus. Some people say THIS person should have won. Some people say THAT person should of won… if you ask 30 different people you might get 30 different answers. So we’ve done some digging as well as thrown in some opinions of our own to give you the top 4 biggest let downs from the Mr. Olympia this year.

4. Big Ramy

We know, we know, he’s very young in the game but you have to admit with all the buzz about the Ramy this year he was kind of the soda without the pop. Don’t get us wrong, Ramy definitely improved from last year; his calves had more definition; his legs had growing promises of striations and sweeps; and his rhomboids showed some serious work was put in. However, it looked like he retained a bit of water weight and his muscle maturity just isn’t there yet. Big Ramy may have weighed in at 316 lbs… but not all of that weight was conditioned and striated muscle. Perhaps if he came in with less weight we would have seen better results.
