5 REASONS JON JONES SHOULD GET A PRIUS!!!

JJones_Prius

Dude…really?

In case you haven’t heard, former lightweight champion Jon Jones turned himself into Albuquerque police  tuesday morning (3/29/16) after being cited for 5 traffic violations last week. The violations put him over the edge as he was already on an 18 month probation for leaving the scene of an accident with death or great bodily harm which left a pregnant lady with a broken arm. Jones was cited for drag racing, exhibition driving, use of modification of exhaust system, failure to maintain traffic lane and improper display of registration plate. Even though he was cited as “model inmate” by the police department, the key word in that statement is inmate.  Will this hinder his UFC197 bout against bitter rival and current champion Daniel Cormier? Only time (and the judge) will tell. But in the meantime, we make our case as to 5 reasons why Jon Jones should get a prius. Check it out below and tell us what you think. 5.) You get a tax credit for buying electric and hybrid cars. Don’t believe us? Check it out here. Jon can use that extra money for defensive driving lessons. Another write off, oops – I did it again. 4.) Daniel cormier will never hear him coming. Those things are quieter than Ronda Rousey after a Holly Holm fight. Yep, he could drive that bad boy up to the cage on fight night and no one would hear a beep. 3.) Even better yet, the Albuquerque police wouldn’t hear him either. No more drag racing or use of modified exhaust tickets for this guy. Jones could rev to his heart’s desire and no one would hear a peep. 2.) He could go 120 mph and no self respecting cop would ever pull him over. When you see a grown man drive a Prius, you know he’s already handed over his balls, why make him hand over his license? 1.) It’s good for the environment. Jon Jones isn’t exactly doing the best as presenting himself as the squeaky clean choir boy we all know he’s not. Why not go the green route? It couldn’t hurt. But with all jokes aside, Jon Jones needs to straighten up and act right. While we felt for him on the video as the cop was acting highly unprofessional by exacerbating the incident, this wasn’t exactly a heads up play. In all seriousness if the court decides to take his license away it’s a good thing. Jon Jones is a superstar who’s too stubborn for his own good. Jon Jones is still under police custody and will remain until his court hearing thursday morning. This is standard procedure and no bail has yet been set.
