Strongman Athlete Aaron Page Tragically Passes Away Due to COVID-19 at Age 31

UK strongman competitor Aaron Page has passed away at age 31.

The promising strongman athlete’s passing was confirmed by a number of sources, including his friend and YouTuber World’s Strongest Fan. It appears that Page’s cause of death was due to COVID-19.

The strongman promoter and friend of Page posted this to his Instagram account.

R.I.P Aaron Page!
I like the rest of the Strongman Community are in total shock.
My thoughts are with your Mum and family at this very difficult time

Aaron Page’s last posting on social media was only a tragic hint of what was to come to pass.

Will be quiet on hear from training videos for a week while i spend some much needed recovery time.
Nothing serious don’t panic
.

Unfortunately we learned that the situation was far more serious than originally thought. Aaron Page along with his girlfriend Chloe Woodford both contracted COVID-19. While Woodford was able to recover, Page was placed into an induced coma. The strongman competitor who was a reserve for the recent World’s Strongest Man would eventually succumb to the sickness.

Aaron Page was co-owner of The Barbell Division with Daniel Jay. He also had his own YouTube channel.

At only 31 years old, Aaron Page has passed on far too soon. He leaves behind his mother Nina Manchip, his girlfriend Chloe Woodford, and his 12 year old son Leon. Only a few short weeks after his birthday, Leon Page has lost his father to this tragic sickness.

Aaron Page recently made a post commemorating his son’s birthday.

This is truly sad news indeed. Aaron Page will be missed. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of Aaron Page.
