Adrien Broner is already throwing barbs at Manny Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner has been set for January 19 pitting two talented veterans against each other in the squared circle. While the fight came as a bit of a shock, particularly with rumors of a Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao having been discussed, this bout between the Filipino boxing star and Adrien Broner could produce some major fire works.
While Manny Pacquiao is no longer in the prime of his career, he still packs quite the punch and could prove to be a dangerous match up for the younger Broner. Adrien Broner is equally as dangerous as Pacquiao though he hasn’t quite lived up to the hype surrounding him after losing bouts to Marcos Maidana, Shawn Porter, and Mikey Garcia. Nevertheless, Broner has an opportunity to halt the resurgence of Manny Pacquiao and cement his legacy all at once.
The lead up to the fight is sure to be an interesting one where Pacquiao will play the humble veteran and Broner the brash young blood looking to close the book on a future hall of famer. Already the barbs are being thrown as Pacquiao and Broner both sat down for a press conference to promote the upcoming bout.
Who do you think wins comes January 19?
