After Finally Competing in First Olympia, Will Shanique Grant Dominate Women’s Physique?

Shanique Grant is the youngest Miss Olympia champion ever!

There are times in life when the odds are stacked against you, when you feel like nothing is going right and that there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Everything seems futile, nothing seems to work, and it seems as is fate is playing some sick joke on you, ensuring that you never fulfill your dreams.

It’s likely what Shanique Grant felt year after year when she found herself injured forcing out of the Olympia.

Anyone with eyes can see that Shanique Grant is truly a special athlete. Her physical form is unlike anything we’ve seen on a competitive bodybuilding stage. A true alpha female with extraordinary musculature, unreal proportions, and the kind of graceful posing that few in the industry can match. Shanique Grant always seemed destined for greater things in the bodybuilding and fitness industry. The unfortunate hardships she faced however was something she hadn’t expected or planned for.

Suffering a stabbing in 2016 and a detached retina the following year, Shanique Grant could have easily looked at these hardships as signs that perhaps competing at the Olympia simply wasn’t in the cards for her. But had she continued with such a thought process, she wouldn’t be the 2018 Women’s Physique Olympia champion.

Now that Shanique Grant has finally competed on the Olympia stage, she was able to blow the competition out of the water. Her very impressive and unique physical features, as well as only being 23 years of age and just beginning her journey, could lead Grant to potentially becoming the most dominant Women’s Physique champion ever. But she can’t afford to rest on her laurels. Instead, Shanique Grant should look to constantly improve which would ensure that she goes down as one of the most prominent figures in Women’s bodybuilding and fitness.

For now, Shanique Grant should enjoy her accomplishments and look to become an ambassador for the sport. If she can match her performances with an inspirational and positive message, there’s no doubt that Shanique Grant will cement herself in bodybuilding history.
