After Two Surgeries, Ronnie Coleman Is In Rehab Training To Walk On His Own Again

Ronnie Coleman enters rehab.

Time truly is the enemy of us all. One day we are on top of the world, as fit as can be, performing feats of greatness and taking it for granted with our exuberant youthful energy. Then twenty years go by in the blink of an eye and we find ourselves in a position we’re not used to. We find ourselves depending on others for tasks that used to be simple and mundane in our youth. No longer can we jump through the air like a gazelle, no longer can we lift ungodly amounts of weight. Now we’re just like everyone else, sometimes even worse.

It’s exactly the position Ronnie Coleman finds himself in now.

Once the king of bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman has now been through several surgeries that, needed procedures to fix the damage to his body. While lifting may have been responsible for certain repairs that needed to be done, genetics and misfortune have also played a major factor.

In hopes of walking unassisted once again, Ronnie Coleman underwent two significant surgeries within a months time. Now, the eight time Olympia champion must travel the road to recovery. Ronnie Coleman finds himself in rehab and must slowly battle back in order to return to his normal condition. In a recent Instagram post, Ronnie Coleman is going through a different type of training, one that will require just as much dedication and patience as building the massive physique he was so widely known for.

Trying my best to get back to unassisted walking. But you gotta crawl before you can walk. These 2 surgeries in the past 4 weeks have taken a toll on my body. But I’m a fighter that don’t believe in losing. You just have to take these setbacks to war, a war that you fight until you win, no matter how long it takes to win.

If anyone can battle back from adversity it’s Ronnie Coleman. The GI team is hoping “The King” will make a speedy recovery and once again walk under his own power.
