Is Conor McGregor walking back retirement talk?

After all the recent escapades he’s been through, it seems that there is yet another interesting wrinkle to the story that is Conor McGregor. After being arrested, accused of committing sexual assault, and most recently insulting the wife of his chief rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor has hit the interwebs with another interesting bit of news.

In a recent Tweet, a statement of apology for insulting Islam in his comments about the wife of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor ended the statement with a pretty intriguing last line.

“See you all in the Octagon.” While that cold simply be hyperbole, it could very well be a hint as to Conor McGregor’s intentions moving forward. While he may have announced his retirement not too long ago, stating that he’ll see everyone in the Octagon could be an indication that the former champion has designs on eventually returning to action.

If that comes as a surprise to anyone then you must not remember his past retirement declarations just before making the biggest paydays in his career.

As of now, Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t appear to be in a forgiving mood. Yesterday the UFC Lightweight champion made the below Tweet.

UFC President Dana White stated that he’s imploring both camps to stop this feud as he deems it’s gone too far.
