Bodybuilder Andy Haman Dies At 55

Bodybuilder and actor Andy Haman has died at 55 years old.

IFBB Pro bodybuilder and later turned actor Andy Haman has passed away at the age of 55. At the time of this writing, the cause of death has not been stated. Haman was a beloved figure in the world of bodybuilding.

The news of his passing was first announced by Samuel Haman, Andy Haman’s son, on his facebook page.

Andy Haman was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He was a member of the University of Iowa wrestling team and graduated with a degree in health science. His interest in wrestling grew into a passion for bodybuilding. he won the 1987 Midwest Natural Championships. His initial bodybuilding career would end up being relatively short. He retired from competitive bodybuilding to focus on teaching.

It wasn’t until 2004 that Andy retired from teaching and returned back to his passion of competitive bodybuilding. Haman later won the NPC Colorado State Championships in the superheavyweight class.

In 2007, Andy Haman won the superheavyweight class and the overall title at the NPC Masters Bodybuilding National Championships. This earned him his IFBB Pro card.

Andy Haman did not only have a passion for bodybuilding but also acting as well. In 2017, he featured in the film Jurrassic Dead

Not only did Andy earn his pro status in bodybuilding, but he also managed to feature in the film the Jurassic Dead in 2017. He was well known for his charisma and friendly personality.

Andy Haman also stared in the Generation Iron mini digital series – Incredible Andy. The series focused on a series of interviews at the Arnold Classic expo. Andy interviewed a variety of individuals. Below is an episode from the series:
