Another IFBB Bodybuilder Has Passed Away Too Soon

Gone too soon.

Tragedy has struck the bodybuilding world as another athlete is gone far too soon. But the cause of this bodybuilder’s passing isn’t what most people usually think about when a strength athlete passes, yet it’s something that could happen to any one of us. Sean Harris fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a tree last Thursday, July 27.

Sean Harris was an IFBB pro who earned his pro card back in 2015 at the North Americans show in the masters division. It’s always shocking and disappointing when a tragedy like this strikes. Accomplishing his dream to become an IFBB pro was a great accomplishment for Harris as well as having a loving wife and children.

The post below goes into further details about what happened on July 27.

It is with a very heavy heart that I make this post. I am sad to report that @ifbbproseanharris has passed away. He was involved in a single car accident, falling asleep behind the wheel…he hit a tree. He was mere days away from doing the Tampa Pro. I met Sean a couple of times at @bevsgym this year and had one very good conversation with him about training and his plans for this season. As huge and intimidating as Sean was, he was just about as kind as a guy could be. We’d both been following each other here for quite some time. My friends @dieseldolls and @darahnycole will be doing a fundraiser to help Sean’s wife and children. I will be sharing all the information here. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sean’s wife, children, extended family and to his many friends and fans. Rest In Peace, Sean. #SeanHarris #RIP #EveryDayIsAGift #Bodybuilder #Bodybuilding #BeTheBiggerMan #THISisBodybuilding
