ARNOLD CLASSIC 2016: WATCH EDDIE HALL DEADLIFT HIS WAY TO A NEW WORLD RECORD

Generation Iron Eddie Hall World Record Arnold Classic 2016

The bar almost couldn’t handle this epic lift.

For those of you that missed the Arnold Classic 2016 this year, you really passed on a dosey. With Kai Greene, Brandon Hendrickson, and India Paulino all placing first in their respective divisions, it was an exciting weekend to say the least.

But besides the posing, there was some strong man going on. Celebrities such as Hafthor Bjornsson “The Mountain”, competed and Arnold watch the competition from close by but ultimately Eddie Hall took the show. Breaking the world Record and deadlifting 1,026 lbs, Eddie Hall earned the respect of Arnold and the crowd by pulling through, virtually jerking his way through the lift.
