It’s a new year and the world is gearing up for the kick off of the 2020 bodybuilding season. So of course, all eyes are on the Arnold Classic 2020 – the first big bodybuilding competition that will set the tone of what to expect for the rest of the year. In December, the official Arnold Classic invite list was announce and we have a stacked group of competitors all looking to start off their bodybuilding competitive season with a bang. But what can we realistically expect versus what is all fan hype? This week King Kamali breaks down each of the competitors in the Men’s Open division and gives his predictions and analysis on what to realistically expect come March.
Top highlights include Dexter Jackson, William Bonac, Big Ramy, Roelly Winklaar, and Cedric McMillan. What will be especially exciting is the return of Big Ramy, who did not compete at all in 2019. The Arnold Classic will be the first time in over year that we see Big Ramy’s physique in earnest – and also the first time in over a year that we see his physique compared to other top competitors.
But again – King Kamali doesn’t deal in hype. He looks at each athlete realistically and acknowledges that Big Ramy has always had a problem with conditioning. So other bodybuilders like William Bonac and Roelly Winklaar still hold a chance in Kamali’s mind to stand tall as the Arnold Classic champion.
