Highlights from the Arnold Classic 2021 Classic Physique prejudging.
The Arnold Classic 2021 Classic Physique prejudging has been completed and this gave a clear picture on who will be leading the way going into the finals on Saturday night. Alex Cambronero entered as the reigning champion with Terrence Ruffin, who finished second in 2020 at both the Arnold Classic and Olympia.
There were five competitors making their debut at the Arnold Classic. This does not include Logan Franklin, who has competed twice at the event in the Men’s Physique division. There were six competitors featured in the first callout highlighted by Ruffin and Cambronero. Ruffin was quickly moved to the center next to the reigning champion. Bryan Jones and Courage Opara made an appearance in the first callout with Franklin and Fabian Mayr rounding out the field.
There was not much movement during this callout. Cambronero and Ruffin spent a majority of the time at centerstage. This hints that Cambronero and Ruffin, the top two from last year, are at the top so far. While it will not be decided this morning, the Classic Physique division is one that will take some time to decide come the night portion of the event.
Both Cambronero and Ruffin were featured in the final callout, which featured four competitors. They were joined by Franklin and Opara. Once again, Cambronero and Ruffin were featured a centerstage but Franklin was hard to ignore on the edge. He brought great see in regards to mass and to height.
