Arnold Schwarzenegger attacked!
During a recent trip to South Africa, Arnold Schwarzenegger was attacked during a public appearance.
The former Governor of California, popular actor, and world renowned bodybuilding champion is said to be unhurt after the event. The video below shows Arnold Schwarzenegger speaking to press and onlookers when he was suddenly attacked out of nowhere.
After the event, Schwarzenegger got back to his feet quickly and said:
“I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”
The below video from the official Instagram of Arnold Schwarzenegger shows the incident from a different angle. In regular Arnold Schwarzenegger fashion, he remained cool and collected after the events that took place, even going so far as to poke fun at the event on Instagram.
Arnold Schwarzenegger also posted these statements to Twitter.
Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.

Do me a favor: instead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be famous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who deserve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat. pic.twitter.com/EuMynJ7t1n

Wayne Price, organizer of the event as well as the Arnold Classic South Africa, had this to say about the incident and the assailant who was “known to the police for orchestrating similar incidents in the past” and that Arnold Schwarzenegger was “fine and still in good spirits.”
