The very best of bodybuilding and Generation Iron in 2019.

To celebrate not only a new year but a brand new decade, Generation Iron is reflecting back at the biggest moments in 2019. This was the biggest year yet for us, featuring a larger release catalogue of original films than ever before including Dorian Yates: The Original Mass Monster, Lee Priest Vs Bodybuilding, Flexatron: Becoming Shawn Rhoden, Calum Von Moger Unbroken, and Enhanced.

Strength Wars Movie

We’re happy to say that this big year is only the beginning – with even more films slated to release in 2020 including the already announced documentaries such as Generation Iron 4, Strength Wars: The Movie, Bigorexia, Enhanced 2 The Max, and many more that will be further detailed as we forge ahead in the new year.

2019 also showed the further expansion of our international presence with Generation Iron Russia, Brazil, and Persia pushing forward with original video content, contest coverage, and exclusives. Generation Iron increased its reach even further with the acquisition of Gym Fuckery – an aggregate website of user submitted workout fail videos that works with parters across the globe to license content for broadcast and digital series.

All of this doesn’t even touch upon the continuing release of exclusive digital content including our brand new series A Conversation With… that has featured interviews with the likes of Larry Wheels, Breon Ansley, Dexter Jackson, Andre Ferguson, King Kamali, and Gregg Valentino. We also released digital docu-series such as The Muscle Mogul starring PJ Braun and Hunt For Hardcore hosted by Rich Gaspari.

2019 also saw the launch of our bodybuilding and fitness subscription guide – Generation Iron Plus – providing the ultimate experience in both fitness education and training/nutrition guides custom built for various skill levels. Working with Dr. Jacob Wilson and his expert team of researchers, GI Plus uses science to provide the best and mos tup to date info for max results.

This new decade starts the beginning of a new chapter for all of us here at Generation Iron – and we are excited to take the bodybuilding world on a journey towards bigger and better things in 2020.
