The world famous Binous Gym in Dubai burned down last night after a fire spread throughout the entire facility. According to local reports and our news sources in Dubai, the fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday morning on April 14th 2026 and quickly spread throughout the facility. Early reports have suggested that an electrical issue may have been the cause, although officials have not yet confirmed a final cause as the investigation continues.
According to The National, firefighters were called to the scene on Sheikh Zayed Road at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Dubai Civil Defense later confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Binous Gym is widely recognized in the bodybuilding community and has built a strong reputation in Dubai and internationally. Following news of the fire, an outpouring of support appeared across social media from gym members, fitness professionals, and other facilities in the area.
Several Dubai-based gyms including our very own Generation Iron Dubai Gym in the business bay distrist have also reportedly offered to accommodate Binous Gym members while the facility’s next steps are being determined.
