Jayne Trcka became known for her physique and it led to many roles.

Bodybuilder Jayne Trcka, who was known for her role in ‘Scary Movie,’ passed away at 62 years old in January. At the time of her death, the cause was not shared as the medical examiner’s office had not taken a look.

A new report from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has been released and it stated that Trcka died from “hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.” It was also stated that her condition was complicated by a “left femoral fracture.”

Along with the primary cause of death, the medical examiner’s office also listed “chronic ethanol use” as a contributing factor. This is also known as grain alcohol, which is common in many alcohol beverages.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, this type of disease occurs when the heart collects damage due to unmanaged high blood pressure over a long period of time. This can strain by thickening the heart muscle and eventually causing failure if it goes untreated. Atheroscletoric cardiovascular disease is cause when plaque builds up in the arterial walls. This can lead to many conditions such as a heart attack, angina, or stroke.

TMZ first reported news about Trcka’s death based on news from her son, who told the news outlet that he was not aware of any prior medical conditions. According to law enforcement, a friend of Trcka attempted to call the bodybuilder multiple times leading up to the day of her death but there was no response. The same friend went to Trcka’s home to check on her and found her unresponsive in the kitchen. First responders arrived on scene and Trcka was pronounced dead.

Jayne Trcka’s Career in Show Business

Jayne Trcka built an impressive physique at a young age and this led to competing as a bodybuilder in 1988. She would compete sporadically over the next decade before quitting her full-time job to focus on a career in fitness. She became a certified personal trainer while also focusing on her own career.

Trcka won the California state Championships in 1997 before the Junior Nationals the very next year. She also finished in the top 10 in over 20 other shows.

Trcka was able to use her physique to land acting roles. She is most known for her appearance as Miss Man in ‘Scary Movie.’ Trcka appeared in four other films over the next half decade while also being featured on The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line is it Anyway?

Jayne Trcka appeared on the cover of many fitness magazines during her career, including Flex and MuscleMag. She was able to use her physique in many ways, to win bodybuilding competitions and land roles on the big screen.
