Bosnian Bodybuilder Kills Wife And Two Others During Instagram Live Before Committing Suicide

Bosnian bodybuilder Nermin Sulejmanovic narrated his heinous crimes on social media.

Bodybuilder and fitness coach Nermin Sulejmanovic killed three people on Instagram live on Friday afternoon before committing suicide. According to multiple reports, the attacks occurred in Bosnia. The victims were the wife of Sulejmanovic and a father and son. Others were wounded as well.

Sulejmanovic streamed the heinous attacks on Instagram and spoke before taking his own life.

“Whoever reported me to the police didn’t do well. Maybe, I didn’t reach someone but now it’s over. I shot at the policeman but he ran away. He ran away with the Skoda. I couldn’t catch him with the BMW.”

Sulejmanovic first posted a video on Instagram telling viewers that they would see a live murder. Later in the afternoon, a live video shows the man firing a gun and killing his wife. The cry of a child can be heard in the background but the man confirmed that he did not hurt the child. The videos have been taken down from social media.

Local media reported that the bodybuilder was also affiliated with a gang and had several convictions involving acts of violence, fights, and drug trafficking.

Police Confirm Death Of Nermin Sulejmanovic

Local mayor Edis Dervisagic declared a state of emergency on Friday and ordered citizens to “stay away from public areas.” The Tuzla Canton’s Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that Sulejmanovic committed suicide.

Prosecutors in Croatia also released a statement following the attacks about the investigation.

“Police forces are on the ground. The investigation will be carried out by the prosecutor on duty in cooperation with the investigators of the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the Office of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Gradacac Police Department.”

Nermin Niksic, the Prime Minister of the Bosnian Federation, also spoke about the incident:

“I have no words to describe what happened today in Gradacac. The murderer took his own life in the end but no one can bring back the lives of the victims.”

Police have not offered any further details on possible motive for the shootings.
