Kim Woong Seo was a popular bodybuilder and influencer at the peak of his career.
Korean bodybuilder Kim Woong Seo passed away at 38 years old after being involved in an accident.
The news was confirmed by Seo’s brother on his official Instagram page, where he shared a message to his following.
“Dancer, who was always full of energy, went on a long journey to heaven today, on the 3rd day, where he can’t hold his hands due to an accident. My brother who looks strong but was more sensitive than anyone else,, I would appreciate it if you remember me deeply in your heart for a long time so that the last road is not lonely.”
Kim Woong Seo reportedly passed away on Feb. 3. Seo built a massive following on social media due to his impressive physique and overall presence in the fitness community. This includes over 43,000 on Instagram and a growing total on YouTube as well. Seo was well-known in the fitness world and fans took to this post to share their condolences with his family.

Seo’s death comes shortly after fellow Korean bodybuilder and influencer Park Seung-hyun died at 35 years old. Like Seo, Seung-hyun grew a massive following on social media, highlighted by his 830,000 subscribers on YouTube. Fans flocked to his page to see the latest workouts and insights into the world of bodybuilding.
Seung-hyun gained attention after beginning an anti-drug campaign, which brought awareness to the dangers of illegal drugs. This included steroids, growth hormones, and different substances used in the bodybuilding world. He was able to speak openly and teach others about the impacts this could have if done wrong.
Bodybuilder Chul Soon Hwang shared a post over the weekend in the midst of a workout with Seo.
