Phil Heath: having just won his 6th consecutive Mr. Olympia, judges have proclaimed him the best bodybuilding physique in the men’s open division for over six years.

Kai Greene: The Predator won three Arnold Classic competitions this year and while he didn’t compete at Mr. Olympia – he would have given Phil a run for his money.

Flex Lewis: The undisputed king of men’s 212 bodybuilding. He just won his fifth Olympia 212 trophy.

Jeremy Buendia: Jeremy brought Men’s Physique Division to new heights with his shredded physique – winning his third Olympia trophy this year.

Danny Hester: Winner of the first ever Olympia Classic Physique competition – Danny has set the standard for what Classic Physique will look like for years to come.

Dexter Jackson: Dexter yet again proved that age means nothing by winning 4 major pro competitions in 2016 – including the first ever Olympia Europe, Arnold Classic Spain and South Africa, and the New York Pro. Able to knock down even the prime young competitors out there today.

Best Female Athlete 2016

Latorya Watts: With her win at the 2016 Olympia Figure competition she is a now a 2x Olympia champion with no signs of stopping.

Juliana Malacrne:  Now a three time winner of the Olympia Women’s Physique and has set the new standard for the ideal aesthetics in this division.

Courtney King: Courtney upended not only Ashley Kaltwasser but also fan favorite India Paulino for her first ever Bikini Olympia win.

Oksana Girshina: She now holds 3 epic wins in the Fitness Olympia competition with her latest victory in 2016 – and also revolutionized what Fitness posing routines should look like.

India Paulino: Fan favorite India just placed her highest spot in the Bikini Olympia 2016 – landing 3rd.

Up-And-Comer Of The Year

Nathan De Asha: Nathan came into the pro bodybuilding scene like a hurricane claiming first place spots at the Toronto Pro Supershow and Ferrigno Legacy.

Josh Lenartowicz: Another bodybuilder to suddenly appear out of nowhere – Josh shocked the world placing 3rds at the Arnold Classic 2016 beating out even Branch Warren.

Cody Montgomery: Known now for being one of the youngest bodybuilders to earn his pro card, Cody had a humble showing at Olympia 2016 but shows incredible promise for the future.

Dallas McCarver: Dallas is all about MASS – many are even calling him the next Big Ramy and his placing of 8th at Olympia 2016 at such a young phase in his career is promising indeed.

Justin Compton: Another bodybuilder that is known to be the next coming of Big Ramy. He might have only placed 10th at Olympia but has time on his side.

Arash Rahbar: Placing 2nd at the first ever Olympia Classic Physique competition – Arash almost took first with a physique that beat out fan favorite Sadik.

Ahmad Ashkanani: Placing 2nd just behind Flex Lewis in the Olympia 212 competition – this new bodybuilder shows true promise and a threat to Flex Lewis’ reign.

Most Improved Bodybuilder 2016

Roelly Winklaar: Roelly placed one spot higher on his Olympia placing this year – but what is most improved his his massive beyond human size. He may not have won Mr. O – but the fans shook the room with excitement when he stepped on stage.

Kevin Levrone: He might have placed 16th at the Mr. Olympia, but his comeback is nothing short of amazing. If you’ve seen what Levrone looked like before deciding to jump back into the sport… you’ll understand just how much of an improvement he made.

Big Ramy: Conditioning has always been against Big Ramy but this year everything changed. Big Ramy jumped up one spot to #4 at this year’s Mr. Olympia… and if he can keep that conditioning held in, he just might keep going higher.

Cedric McMillan: Cedric McMillan was a bodybuilder often overlooked by judges in 2015. Not so this year, nearly beating out Kai Greene at the Arnold Classic and placing a solid 7th at Mr. Olympia.

William Bonac: In all honesty, William Bonac has been slowly improving every single year – and this one pushed him into the top 5 at Mr. Olympia. Every single year he becomes more dangerous.

Best Posing Routine 2016

Kai Greene: Kai Greene has been one of the most iconic bodybuilding posers ever since he first stepped on stage. His routine at the Arnold Classic 2016 stunned the world – and basically ensured his win.

Oksana Grishina: Much like Kai – Oksana completely revolutionized what the standard is for Fitness posing routines. Always incorporating a theme – this year at Olympia it was Michael Jackson.

Cedric McMillan: While very different than Kai’s insane posing performances, Cedric has one of the most stoic and emotional posing routines seen in 2016. Another stand out at both Arnold Classic and Olympia.

Tanji Johnson: Coming as runner up at the Fitness Olympia competition – Tanji showcased a mind blowing posing routine that gave Oksana Grishina a run for her money.

Hidetada Yamagishi: Hide tipped the scales in his favor at the Arnold Classic because of his posing routine. The new addition of judging posing highlighted how powerful his stage presence really is.

Guy Cisternino: His posing routines are impressive and entertaining as hell. He brings much needed personality to the slew of repetitive bodybuilding poses.

Most Shredded Bodybuilder 2016

Jeremy Buendia: Landing yet another first place victory at the Olympia Men’s Physique – Jeremy is the true definition of shred.

Flex Lewis: You don’t become a four time reigning 212 champion without having the dry and tight conditioning that turns heads.

Dexter Jackson: Dexter Jackson’s shredded physique is inhuman. His genetics take him a long way… and then his insane work ethic keeps him as one of the top shredded competitors today.

Josh Ledortowicz: This bodybuilder came completely out of nowhere and blew away even the top bodybuilders at Olympia in regards to shredded lean muscle alone.

Arash Rahbar: Arash might not have landed the win at the first Olympia Classic Physique – but he has the hard conditioning to be a true champion in the years to come.

Shawn Rhoden: Sure, Rhoden was a bit soft this year at the Olympia – but that doesn’t change the fact that he is one of the most shredded bodybuilders of the past 10 years.

Personality Of The Year

Rich Piana: One of the most blunt and controversial bodybuilders out there today. Rich made an entire empire not through competing – but through his nuts personality and entertaining videos.

CT Fletcher: A jacked powerlifter who almost died… comes back as one of the most entertaining and badass motivational speakers ever seen in the fitness world.

Bradley Martyn: Bradley brings sex appeal and hilarious antics into the bodybuilding world. Lifting chicks instead of dumbbells and posting videos that blow up the internet.

Gregg Valentino: Known as the Ramblin’ Freak – Gregg Valentino has the most disturbing stories and no bullsh*t personality that some people love… and some people hate.

Simeon Panda: Clean. Fit. And truly motivational. He’s not doing any stupid antics to win fans over – he’s just real and exciting to see.

Dana Linn Bailey: Dana is an insane Women’s Physique competitor and while she isn’t the current champ – she is a champion of connecting with fans because of a badass and endearing personality.

Martyn “The Nightmare” Ford: Known more for his head to toe tattoos than anything else – Martyn Ford is an internet titan because of his monster presence on camera.

Steve Cook: An empire unto himself, Steve is the perfect “all American” personality in fitness and has inspired millions across the world in fitness.

Kali Muscle: This bodybuilder has so much personality that he was featuring in the hilarious Gieco commercial where he directs traffic. Just watch that ad and you’ll see how much gusto he’s got under those muscles.
