Bradley Martyn Being Sued by the State of California for Gym Remaining Open

Bradley Martyn being sued by California.

The state of 2020 has been quite chaotic. The global health crisis has made things incredibly complicated. With the wide spread of the virus around the world, governments have been forced to make the tough decision of shutdowns of industry. This includes restaurants, movie theaters, and of course the bodybuilder’s safe haven, gyms.

These shutdowns have caused a ton of strife across the United States in particular. Since government aid has only been provided in a one-time stimulus check, most business owners have struggled to pay the bills. The government’s refusal to nationalize wages or provide a universal basic income during the pandemic means business owners have been forced to defy shutdown protocols and remain open.

Truly, it’s like being stuck between a rock and hard place.

Enter Bradley Martyn.

Owner of the California based Zoo Culture gym, Bradley Martyn has been one of the individuals defying orders to shut down. After all, we’ve seen other popular gyms close their doors. Bradley Martyn was hoping to avoid a similar fate.

But in doing so, it appears that Martyn has opened a whole new can of worms. According to the Zoo Culture owner, it appears that he’s being taken to court by the state of California.

It truly is an unfortunate turn of events. More information will be provided as this story continues to develop.
