Breon Ansley Looks Ready to Retain His Classic Physique Title 6 Weeks Out

Breon Ansley is looking ready to combat all challengers.

While a great deal of fans and pundits have speculated is Chris Bumstead was ready to challenge for the Classic Physique Olympia title or whether Regan Grimes was a perfect fit for the division, reigning champion Breon Ansley has been putting in work, perfecting his physique. With a big win at the 2018 Arnold Classic this year, Breon Ansley became the first Classic Physique champion at the prestigious show. Now he looks to retain his Olympia championship in six weeks time.

Chris Bumstead, Arash Rahbar, Regan Grimes, and a host of other Classic Physique competitors will be sure to challenge Breon Ansley at this year’s show. But despite that fact, Ansley has been doing what a champion should do: worrying about himself and his own improvements. Training to beat someone can be a major benefit or drawback depending on the individual’s mindset. Training to beat yourself however is always a stronger plan as you focus less on comparison with others and more on ensuring you make solid improvements to your own physique.

With the 2018 Olympia six weeks away, the competitors are putting their all into their preparations, fine tuning their training and diet plans. From the looks of things, Breon Ansley looks more than ready to take on all challengers.

Do you think Breon Ansley will retain his Classic Physique Olympia title?
