Brian Shaw repeats and beats out The Mountain.

Just like the Olympia for bodybuilding The World’s Strongest Man competition is held every year to determine who is truly the best of the best. Every competition has been cutthroat affairs that have shown back and forth shifts in momentum. The competitors are all willing to put everything on the line to prove to the world that they are deserving of the title of the strongest. Brian Shaw won last year’s competition with Hafthor Bjornsson, nicknamed The Mountain, coming in a respectable third place. Ever since then both men have been hard at work in the gym hoping to improve their strengths and conquer their weaknesses.

Well it appears that the hard work paid off for both men as the 2016 World’s Strongest Man competition was held just a few days ago. The competitors all did battle until one man stood above the pack to claim victory. Once again Brian Shaw was crowned the World’s Strongest Man with The Mountain coming in second place. Both men have obviously improved since their last showing and though The Mountain may have taken second place his improvements from last year show that he could still one day hold the title.

While he couldn’t spread the word on his social media Brian Shaw had this message to share with fans.

The 2016 World’s Strongest Man is officially over and I am getting ready to fly home. I can’t disclose the results of the contest but the results are out online if you search for them.
