Brian Shaw appeared in The King of The Table 13 in December in Atlantic City, NJ against Eddie Hall. This match was part of a card where the main event will be Levan Saginashvili and Jerry Cardorette. Shaw shared that Devon Larratt and John Brzenk will also be featured on the care. For Hall and Shaw, this was the first pro match that either one has taken part in.
Both parties have been training in different ways to accomplish upcoming goals. This includes MMA training as both have expressed an interest in stepping in the ring. There was an initial agreement for an event this year but the details of the contract fell through. Now, sights shifted over to arm wrestling.
Brian Shaw’s Test Results
The first test was an InBody test where the scale determined both body weight and body fat percentage. Shaw stepped on the scale in his clothes and checked in at 377 pounds with a lean body mass of 315.9 pounds. This lean body fat number is one that Shaw will focus on moving forward.
“I have been actively trying to make a change. The lean body mass, that’s something that I’m going to really pay attention to.”
The next test was a hydrostatic submersion test. This is where they were required to let all air out of their bodies while laying in water. Shaw entered the tub with shorts on and weighed 373.6 pounds. Shaw did three tests and his body fat was at 16.8% with a lean body weight of 311 pounds.
“As I’m trying to get rid of fat, that lean body mass number is something I’m going to pay attention to.”
Brian Shaw continues to train for many different avenues in the fitness world but now, his sights are set on a physique transformation that has gone well to this point. Shaw is down nearly 40 pounds and has more work to do as he focuses on his lean body mass.
