British Bikini Bodybuilder Teaches Seminars To Fund Her Career

Charley Alexander, age 22, is currently in preparation for a PCA UK bodybuilding show at Hull City Hall.

She told DailyMail that she would never dream of pursuing serious athletics after a catastrophic knee injury she suffered two years ago while pursuing her dance degree.

Bodybuilding was recommended to her by a stranger at the gym.

“He asked if I was into it and I said no. I thought he meant those huge women who you see on TV. He said I’d be good at it so I looked into it and realized it’s not that at all.”

Charley has been building up a name for herself and is now able to make money holding her own posing seminars. She recommends it as a revenue stream for any aspiring bodybuilder.

“I think posing seminars are great for newcomers to body building as they break down the basics of what to expect, however, I deem posing to be very individualized and although you will learn the basics it is then down to you to practice in your own time and create shapes that best present your physique.

“They are always great to meet new people who are more than likely in the same position as you and you can relate to each other. You can also get to learn from people who have won titles and have been successful in the sport.”

She is also an ambassador for sports nutrition company USN and will be involved in their release of a new Whey protein product. Charley said throughout the processs, she has received nothing but love from her home town.

“Everyone I have come across from Hull have been nothing but supportive of my bodybuilding and it’s overwhelming to see how much support I get from the people of Hull.”

She will be competing in the PCA UK bodybuilding event at Hull City Hall on Sunday April 29.

“I love competing for my home town as I think it gives the city recognition for the successful people it creates.”
