Bryce Lewis Sets Earth-Shattering PR With 650lb Squat Triple

Bryce Lewis Sets A New Personal Record During The Quarantine.

Gyms are closed nationally and people are stuck at home. But even that didn’t stop Bryce Lewis from breaking a new personal record.

As of late, Lewis has been pushing himself to the limit despite current events. He has been putting on some pretty amazing performances during this shutdown. Lewis took first in the 231lb division during the 2019 RAW Nationals. That was also the last time he competed. Since then, Lewis has been putting in extra work in the gym and has been working on his gains. His hard work is not going unnoticed and he is showing that he is constantly improving.

For some, this shutdown has them home without any workout equipment. But as for Bryce Lewis, not even the temporarily closures will determine how much he progresses.

Lewis took to Instagram last week, where he showed off his new personal record. He’s still being productive while in quarantine. The highlight of his training was a tremendous 650lb squat triple, which was a lifetime personal record.

Bryce has been working hard on his strength during this quarantine. He has also been working on improving his squat technique. Lewis just hit a massive 705lb squat, just six pounds away from his best, and a 485lb bench press a couple of weeks ago.

No one is sure what’s to come in the next coming weeks. This quarantine has the entire country stepping outside of their comfort zones. Even though there is some uncertainty for what the future holds, Bryce Lewis will continue to prepare for the IPF Worlds. The event is scheduled for later this year. If  the event proceeds as scheduled, Lewis will definitely showcase an amazing performance. Being that he just started prepping for the event and is hitting new personal records, he is sure to bring a high level of skill whenever he competes again.
