In the final part of King Kamali’s interview with Chad Nicholls – we dive head first into the hot topic of insulin in bodybuilding. A rising drug in the bodybuilding industry that has split fans, experts, and athletes. Specifically, some find that the drug has changed the way bodybuilding physiques look. Others believe it’s simply the next tool that will take bodybuilding physiques to the next level.
In King Kamali’s opinion, insulin has created a spongy look that decreases the quality of modern bodybuilders. It’s part of the reason he finds the 90’s to be a better era than today. But what does Chad Nicholls think?
Chad makes it clear that insulin itself isn’t really the problem but instead it’s the protocols that bodybuilders and aspiring bodybuilders go on that is being over used and ruining physiques. Chad goes on later to say that insulin is overrated. Too many young bodybuilders are taking it way too much and way too soon. The concept of discovering the limits of your body naturally is being thrown out the window. Instead, people are looking for the fasted way to get massive and make use of all the hard work in the gym. Why wait five years to become a champion level bodybuilder if you can do it in two?
King Kamali also puts Chad Nicholls through a lightening round of questions that have answers ranging from insightful to hilarious. Topics touched upon include Phil Heath Vs Ronnie Coleman, remembering Nasser El Sonbaty, Olympia vs Arnold Classic, and much more.
