Return to Open! Cody Montgomery is in INSANE Condition Ahead of Japan Pro!

Cody Montgomery is aiming for a triumphant return to form.

One of the top bodybuilding prospect currently on the circuit today, Cody Montgomery has impressed ever since dominating the competition as a teenager. The young bodybuilder would eventually take his career to the next level, becoming an IFBB Pro, one of the youngest to ever do it.

Then he hit a bit of a snag.

Cody Montgomery decided that for his first competition he would take on all the big dogs in the Open Weight division. While he didn’t get the results he wanted, it still showed the kind of mentality he has, willing to challenge the best of the best in the division.

During his tenure as an IFBB Pro, Cody Montgomery has switched divisions looking for the sweet spot for his competitive career. In the end, Montgomery has decided to make a return to form once again competing in the Open Weight division.

Ahead of the Japan Pro, Cody Montgomery is looking ready to take on the competition, showing that his training under Chris Aceto has paid off.

Well guys, here goes nothing. 1 more day in the states before I head off to Tokyo, Japan to compete @ifbb_pro_league_japan_pro back in the OPEN class for the first time since 2016. This prep had a whole different meaning to me this year as this one was for my family, alongside my family. I have to give a huge thank you to @therealtechnician for getting me back to my best and I believe we will be bringing my best package to date this coming weekend. Time will tell but I gotta say I missed the grind so damn much and I can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support along the way. Bodybuilding is in no means an individual sport and I feel blessed to have the team behind me this year that I do.
