After Bar Brawl, Conor McGregor Is Allegedly Being Threatened By The Irish Mob

Conor McGregor vs the Irish Mob?!

Yeah, you read that correctly. It seems that McGregor’s in cage antics are now beginning to find their way to the streets of Dublin, Ireland.

Rumors are circulating that the UFC lightweight champion has found himself in deep water with the Irish mob after engaging in a brawl at Dublin pub. The establishment known as the Black Forge played host to numerous patrons, one of which is an associate of a well known Irish gangster and convicted drug dealer Graham “The Wig” Whelan. Whelan has allegedly been connected to gun running and drug trafficking throughout Ireland and England.

According to reports, Conor McGregor punched Whelan’s associate, a man in his fifties, while visiting the south Dublin pub. McGregor had a confrontation with another man before Whelan’s associate intervened only to be struck twice by the MMA star. A brawl ensued in the aftermath.

According to anonymous sources, Conor McGregor is being threatened to either pay 900k Euros or be shot. The images below show screenshots of a conversation alleging that McGregor was in the pub and had involvement in the brawl. The conversation also state that McGregor is expected to pay up if he wants to avoid being shot.

While this is all unsubstantiated at the moment, it seems clear that something apparently occurred. A news report about the incident made headlines in Irish newspapers.

Conor McGregor also posted an image up on Instagram that could implicate himself as the “celeb” mentioned in the news article.

According to the website Craziest Sports Fights, witness audio was obtained that further implicates that McGregor is indeed in danger of being attacked. You can read the transcript or listen to the audio below.

“The first girl, Meghan Whelan, so her brother is Graham Whelan out of Crumlin. Also known as ‘The Wig’. He’s major, so that’s not going to end well for him [McGregor]. He went into the pub and he was trying to get at Ryan Burne [another Whelan associate]. Ryan Burne is who he gave the digs [punches] at.

“So Meghan Whelan’s dad was in the way, and he ended up getting a boxing to the head as well and he was smashing Ryan Burne up. Ryan Burne’s only a little skinny c*nt from Crumlin, but he hangs out with Pat and Paulo Timmins.

“But the fact is that Whelan’s awfully big in the hits [assassinations]. It’s all going to kick off, so buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”

For now, we’re all in the dark as to whether or not these findings are one hundred percent accurate. We’ll have to treat this as speculation, but if true, things could be going downhill for Conor McGregor fairly quickly.
