Bodybuilding and powerlifting on a whole rarely cross lines into other athletic endeavors. Sure, there may be certain things it has in common with other sports, namely in terms of the exercises that are performed. But outside of the squat, deadlift, and bench press you’d find comparisons with other sports lacking. So whenever bodybuilding or powerlifting crosses over into sports like mixed martial arts you can be sure something intriguing will be going down. This time around it seems that popular bodybuilding and powerlifting internet personality is challenging a well respected martial artist and commentator. [wptouch target=”mobile”]

CT Fletcher is a man known to speak his mind with every chance he gets. This time around he has some words to say to Joe Rogan, the color commentator for the UFC. The disagreement all stems from comments that Rogan made about fighters carrying too much muscle on their frame and what that could mean for their performance. Joe Rogan suggested that having a lot of muscle mass could harm athletic performance, specifically when it comes to stamina. Rogan pointed out Tyron Woodley as an example, which is where CT Fletcher comes in. Fletcher apparently trained with Woodley in the past and took offense to Rogan’s statements about the new Welterweight champion. The statements prompted CT Fletcher to head to Twitter and speak his mind in regards to conclusions Joe Rogan had come to. For all the details about the Twitter beef take a look at the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_27lMSuZPsI So who do you think is correct in this matter, CT Fletcher or Joe Rogan?
