CT Fletcher Talks Steroid Use With Joe Rogan And Why He Says Not To Use Them

CT Fletcher gets candid with Joe Rogan.

In the health and fitness industry it isn’t uncommon for an athlete to be accused of using a performance enhancing drug. Sometimes it seems like the fans can’t get enough of it being honest. While it may seem like some kind of attack on a particular athletic figure, the truth of the matter is that for many it’s simply a defense mechanism, a way in which to soften the blow of learning the truth about their favorite athletes.

The stigma of steroid use in endeavors like bodybuilding and powerlifting is much different than what you would find in other competitive sports like basketball, football, or MMA. In many cases using performance enhancing drugs are encouraged in the strength sports as a means of unlocking an athlete’s true potential. It’s a decision that can’t be made lightly and one that can have devastating effects if used incorrectly.

In the case of CT Fletcher, the powerlifter wishes he never used steroids in the first place.

While making his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, CT Fletcher delved into a number of different topics from familial relationships to his belief on conditioning versus muscle mass. CT Fletcher also talked about the subject of his steroid use, when he started, why he stopped, and why he advises no one to ever use them. Take a look at the video below as CT Fletcher tells his story of steroid use.
