Dallas McCarver Not Competing At The 2017 Olympia

Is he making the right decision?

Bodybuilding is by no means a simple lifestyle to pursue. It takes so much patience, resilience, and funds that it’s easy to see why so few make it to the top. Nevertheless, those with the genetic capacity, the raw talent, and genuine passion will often times find themselves rising to the top in a sport that chews people up and spits them out. Dallas McCarver is one of the success stories.

Dallas McCarver is a bodybuilder that no doubt has had to overcome adversity in the past, yet he finds himself in a very different position than he usually does. Usually all that is said about McCarver is that he’s a talented athlete who has pushed himself throughout his young career to follow in the footsteps of the greats that came before him and carve out his own piece of glory in the bodybuilding industry. But ever since falling ill at the Arnold Classic Australia, the talk of the town and question on everyone’s mind is what will Dallas McCarver do next?

Well, for anyone wondering on what his next move should be, it appears that Dallas McCarver has finally saw fit to give the masses an answer. That same answer is one that we weren’t quite expecting, but indeed prove to be the best decision in for the young bodybuilder’s career.

This off season is off to a great start! Already waking up as heavy as I want to be at 325lbs not just to grow select amounts in needed areas and keep the midsection tight! Can’t wait to see what next year brings. Yes, next year… incase you don’t I unfortunately will not be competing in this years Mr. Olympia contest. I told myself if I couldn’t win the Arnold I’d take the rest of the year off to improve. As hard as it is I’m making myself stick to that. That being said I have my sights set and full steam ahead for the 2018 Arnold and Lord willing the Olympia after that! After competing the past two years in the Olympia missing it is going to kill me, but I know inside it’s the right move and will pay off in the long run! #dallasmccarver #bigcountry #OffSeason
