The rematch is set for Las Vegas!
Well it certainly took long enough for things to be decided, but it appears that Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will finally settle the score. The rematch of their first epic bout has been set for February 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
In their initial bout Deontay Wilder was thoroughly out boxed by the more technically sound Tyson Fury throughout the twelve round affair. But the champion wouldn’t be denied and landed some devastating punches dropping Fury twice inside the distance. Despite the knockdowns however, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury would fight to a draw.
Now the two heavyweight boxers will have a chance to truly decide who is the better man as they get set for their rematch. Both Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury took to their Instagrams to promote the fight as well as throw a few barbs each other’s way.
Will it be the power and precision punching of Deontay Wilder that wins the day or will Tyson Fury be able to utilize his superior boxing technique to get the job done? We’ll have to tune in on February 22 to find out.
