Despite Shrunken Legs Ronnie Coleman Still Trying To Grow His Wheels

Ronnie Coleman is as dedicated as ever.

Obsession. That’s what it takes to be the very best at what you do. If you’re looking to turn a corner, crush records, and be at the pinnacle of your endeavor, then you’re going to have to put forth an extreme amount of effort and an ungodly amount of hours to rise to the top. That’s what it takes to be a champion. It something that every athlete understands. It’s the stuff that separates the best of the best from the pack.

It’s what Ronnie Coleman possessed to make him one of the greatest champions in bodybuilding history.

Now that he’s retired from competition, Ronnie Coleman has faced a tremendous amount of adversity. He has gone from being on top of the game to suffering major injuries and undergoing numerous surgeries to repair his damaged body. Once he cut a massive figure, a monster among men. But time is an enemy to us all and it’s time that has taken a major toll on Ronnie Coleman.

Despite the fact that he isn’t the massive beast that he once was, it hasn’t stopped the eight time Olympia champion from training. His muscle have shrunken and atrophied due to his many injuries, yet he doesn’t look at it as the end of the road. In fact, Ronnie Coleman is pushing himself as hard as ever due to that one word.

Obsession.

Ronnie Coleman has no quit in him, never has and never will. It’s for that reason that seeing him push hard in the gym is at once alarming while at the same time business as usual. A recent Instagram post showcases the former Olympia champion training legs in hopes of building up his wheels once more.

Trying my best to get these little legs bigger. Didn’t realize how hard it was going to be pushing upward with my right leg totally numb but was able to do it. This is one of my old school favorite exercises. Something I use to do all the time when I first came to Metroflex. That’s just how old this machine is because this my 28th year at Metroflex. I’m also struggling a bit on the leg curl but there is too much fight in me to give up. #yeahbuddy #lightweightbaby #itstillaintnothingbutapeanut
