The legend and the newcomer.

EAST COAST MECCA: SEASON 2 – Generation Iron returns to the beast coast with an inside look at the Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym one week before the New York Pro 2016. Known as the East Coast Mecca of bodybuilding, Bev Francis’ gym attracts today’s most elite athletes. In season 2 we’ll follow the likes of Kai Greene, Dexter Jackson, Roelly Winklaar, Sadik Hadzovic, and many more.

Kai Greene is arguably one of the greatest modern bodybuilders to ever hit the stage during this new generation. Only to be matched in hype, talent, and fandom by Phil Heath – Kai Greene will be forever remembered during this decade of bodybuilding and perhaps of all time. So when The Predator enters the East Coast Mecca, people take notice. In the first of a three part takeover episode – Kai Greene hangs out with Steve Weinberger swapping stories, meeting fans, and connecting with the gym family. But things take a heated turn when Kai Greene argues with Steve that the Classic Physique division will overtake Men’s Open as the most popular division in bodybuilding.

Meanwhile, for every legend there must be a newcomer to challenge that legacy. The future is unknown for Physique competitor Kurt Dell – but he is determined to rise up among the ranks… starting with the upcoming NY Pro that is only 2 days away. Old and new collide in the perfect split between Kai and Kurt – showcasing both sides of the same journey we all must take.

Will Kurt’s be a journey towards greatness? Only time will tell – but get your first glimpse in the latest episode of East Coast Mecca above.
