Eddie Hall would take on Hafthor Bjornsson on the street rather than do business once again.
Eddie Hall has taken on many ventures over the years once he exited the Strongman world. This includes boxing and MMA training. He has boxed Hafthor Bjornsson in the past and as it sounds, there is no plan for a rematch. Hall recently joined RXMuscle to discuss his future in MMA and underlying problems with Thor from their time in Strongman.
“I would do a rematch with Thor on the street. I don’t want to do business with that guy. I don’t want to put money in his pocket. I don’t want to go against someone that cries wolf when he loses a Strongman competition.”
Hall has taken on many physique transformations as well. In December, Hall chalenged himself to the carnivore diet for 90 days. He shared a video on YouTube explaining his process and sharing his weight lossof 19.6 pounds. Hall shared his current weight of 350.5 pounds and body fat of just 19.9%.
Hall was preparing to take on reigning World’s Strongest Man champion Mitchell Hooper in the ring before the event was cancelled. He is now looking for his next opponent and has his sights set on Mariusz Pudzianowski, who has experience in the ring. Like Hall, Pudzianowski is a former World’s Strongest Man who has made the transformation into a fighter.
Hall discussed some beef between the two Strongmen dating back to his victory at the World’s Strongest Man.
Eddie Hall: “He’s A Piece Of Sh*t”
Eddie Hall was crowned WSM champion in 2017. Bjornsson finished as the runner-up that year. Hall claims that Bjornsson was throwing out accusations that one of the officials was working with Hall.
“I won the World’s Strongest Man and he made accusations that the ref was working with me and disallowed him a rep on the Viking Press, which was proven to be bullsh*t. Once that was proven to be bullsh*t, he then claimed that the event was changed. You just can’t win.”
Hall explains how a documentary was put out about this very topic and Bjornsson’s claims were proven to be untrue.
“We put this documentary on YouTube and it literally proved that what he said to be wrong and then he just changed to something else. It’s a sore loser and I just can’t stand sore losers. I lost that boxing match and I took it on the chin and shook his hand. That was hard for me. I would say, I wish I didn’t do that because he didn’t deserve it. The wrong man won that boxing fight. He’s a piece of sh*t.”
Eddie Hall was defeated by Thor during their boxing match. He explains how his training went well but he suffered an injury that impacted his ability to use one side.
“I committed to that fight. The most unfortunate thing for that and now I say it, I got blasted after that f*cking fight, people saying I didn’t train properly. I ripped my left bicep off six months before that fight.
I still could only use my right arm. If you watch the fight, I threw my left arm, I think my coach counted, I threw 18 shots with my left arm.”
